At the heel of the boot, you’ll find Calabria’s Cirò appellation where the red grape Gaglioppo reigns supreme. This reserve wine is from a single vineyard of old bush vines grown on limestone and clay loam. After fermentation, the wine rests in tank for three years before bottling. This wine is in its sweet spot, so drink up and enjoy! Fresh tomato sauces and beefy dishes will pair well.
