2018 Bohigas Xarel-lo

The same family has been farming the land around Fermi Bohigas in the northern Penedes region of Catalunya (about an hour northwest of Barcelona) since the 13th Century! They produce Cava, but also make this zippy little dry white from Xarel-lo. Notes of citrus and tart pineapple dominate the palate. It’s got bracing acidity which creates a tangy palate. Gambas Al Ajillos anyone?
