Xavier Clua farms 25 acres of vines in the up and coming Terra Alta region in northern Spain. Clua’s high altitude vineyards have soils primarily of calcareous clay. This blanco is 90% Grenache Blanc with a kiss of Viognier lending exotic charm. Absent of oak, this white over-delivers for price. Elegant and light on the palate, serving suggestions include seafood platters and fried anything.
